The eyes are the window to the soul and an important organ for us to understand the world. We are now exposed to electronic products such as televisions, tablets, and mobile phones for a longer period of time, which invisibly brings a certain eye burden and increases the risk of myopia development. Signs before myopia

1. Get closer

Watching things very close and unconsciously moving forward while watching TV often indicates that a child's vision has deteriorated.

2. squint your eyes

Long term squinting can lead to eye muscle fatigue, and the degree of myopia deepens faster.

3. Rub your eyes

Children with myopia may experience blurred vision, eye fatigue, and frequent rubbing of their eyes, which may indicate a decline in their eyesight.

4. Blink your eyes

Children with myopia often rub their eyes, causing chronic conjunctivitis and corneal damage. If the eyes are uncomfortable, the child will blink frequently.

5. Tilt your head or eyes

After excluding strabismus, myopic children tend to tilt their heads or eyes to see things, as this can reduce scattered light and thus see more clearly.

6. Frowning

Frowning can cause changes in the eyelids and extraocular muscles, altering the shape of the eyeball and allowing for clearer vision.

7. Regularly tug at the corners of the eyes

This can reduce light scattering, flatten the cornea, change refractive power, and temporarily improve vision in mild myopia. But long-term pulling and pulling of the corners of the eyes can cause astigmatism.
